Website + LMIS installer

One secure configuration for the public website, online applications and the existing LMIS modules.

Important: Always back up the live LMIS files and SQL before deployment. New mode requires an empty database. Existing mode preserves all user records, password hashes, learners and training data, and only adds new website tables. Never upload this unconfigured package directly over a functioning live website.

If MySQL is connected but the installer fails, check the operation shown above and read cPanel → Errors or the PHP error_log. A failed new install may have created some tables already. Do not rerun against a partly initialized database or remove any existing tables without first making a backup.

For a new installation, provide details for the first admin. For an existing installation, enter the current admin email and password to authorize connecting the database. Existing admin passwords are not changed.

SMTP credentials are written only to the server's protected config file. Delivery must be tested after installation; an empty SMTP password will not send email.
